This ski hill has 18 great ski lifts with views of the St. Croix valley and is located just north of the city of Afton Minnesota.
This ski resort has a much lower than average fraction of tough trails and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue trails. The 4 feet of ice cold snow that fall here annually is of course not first-rate, but not that bad either. This is a pleasant ski mountain with a lot of different runs; it's out of the question to get bored here. Afton Alps has a decent range of trails and a good pick of good ski lifts.
No scarcity of good hotels, and if you make reservations before heading out, you're all set. Splendid exercise and spending some quality time in the wilderness will make you feel fine. This ski hill has 41 slopes that you could ski on; there's a splendid variety to gratify everyone. Afton Alps is a fuller-scale than average ski hill having a medium vertical drop if compared to other mid west ski areas. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this vicinity has many ski mountains.

Afton Alps sits along the rolling hills of the scenic St Croix River Valley and is surrounded by Afton State Park. The ski area is spread out along a wedge-shaped ridge overlooking the river valley, and is pretty extensive for a Midwest ski area. Afton Alps offers 48 trails, four terrain parks, 18 chairlifts, and a 350 foot vertical drop. The longest run is 3000 feet
